We have just completed the 5th Grade Writing Assessment and are geting ready for the CRCT's in April. We will be spending a lot of time reviewing material and focusing on ways to do our best on these tests.
Please note: it is important for students to complete their assignments on time and to have their agendas signed daily. The agendas are very important to help keep open lines of communication between the teachers here at school and the students' homes. Homework is assigned so that students can practice what has been covered in class.
In Science, we will be constructing Electric Quiz Boards! This is a fun project and it will take the place of having an end of unit test. Students will be going back to their homeroom for Social Studies/Science starting on Monday, March 17th.
Please remember that money is due for our field trip in May ASAP!! If we don't receive enough money for a down payment on the trip, it will have to be cancelled. If your child will not be going, please send in a note that explains that so that we will have an accurate count of how many students we expect to attend.
