We only have 2 weeks until the first 9 weeks comes to an end.  How fast it is going!  You have all been amazing!!!

Math - Over the next couple of weeks we will continue working on dividing decimals.

Reading - We will continue working with main idea/supporting details in non-fiction text.

Science - Dams, levees, beach reclamation - Students will get a study guide on 10/7/11 for a test on constructive/destructive processes on 10/13/11.

Important Dates:               

10/10/11 - 10/14/11 - ITBS - Please make sure that your child is at school on time each morning, had a good night's sleep, and has eaten breakfast at home or has time to eat at school.  **I would like to make sure that every child has a snack during testing since it really makes a difference in focusing.  Please send in individually wrapped snacks for the class for testing week if you can.  Thanks!!

• You can check your child's grades on Engrade.com.
• Spelling and DLR tests are every Friday.
• AR goals are set at the beginning of every month & written in the students' agendas.  This is optional but highly recommended to improve reading skills.
