Thanks for all of your Holiday gifts and cards, I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness! :) Just a few reminders, report cards go home today. Please sign and return the signature card and envelope as soon as possible. High Touch High Tech - "CELL-ebrate" in-school field trip will be on the 27th of this month. -Discussing the impact on American society with the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King, Jr.
-Analyzing the significance of varioustechnologies of television and space exploration.
-Constructing clear and organized informational/explanatory pieces with proper
-Identifying and using various strategies to help with the writing process.
-Applying the key traits of writing when constructing new pieces.
Just a reminder our Performing Arts Field Trip is this coming Thursday (12/12/13). Please be sure your child is dressed properly and brings a lunch, if they selected to do so. Our holiday party will be Friday, December 20th. We will be making snow globes as our craft activity and we are in need of glass jars. If you are able to spare any, please send in with your child as soon as possible. Also, if you would like to bring in treats for the party, there is a sign up page on the link below. Thanks for all you do! :)
Here is a copy of the weekly spelling grid. Students will select activities based on the number of points they will need for the week. (dependent on the grade they received on the prior week's spelling test)
